Job summary

Quest Defense Systems & Solutions seeks FPGA Design Engineers to support the T3CAS platform modernization, focusing on firmware development compliant with DO-254. This remote role welcomes US Citizens/US Persons.

The team collaborates on RF FPGA design, modeling in MATLAB/Simulink, and certification activities within safety-critical aerospace programs. A strong emphasis is on verification, documentation, and integration with ACSS developments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related field.
• 3–6 years of FPGA design and development experience.
• Experience with DO-254 or other safety-critical standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop RF FPGA design and artifacts for consolidation to a single device.
• Develop a MATLAB model to assess overall system performance against requirements.
• Support IOC and PC PLD design and documentation.
• Create HTPR documentation based on HRDs from ACSS.
• Assist during V&V activities including Static Timing Analysis and fault analysis.
• Provide support for certification activities and DO-254 knowledge.
