Job summary

CS Group US is seeking an FPGA Development Engineer with real-time embedded systems experience to lead requirements, design and development for safety-critical airborne systems. The role supports DO-254 objectives and certification efforts, and welcomes onsite (CT), hybrid, or full remote work arrangements.

The candidate will collaborate with hardware, software, verification, and certification teams to ensure traceability, robust design, and timely delivery. U.S.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of FPGA, programmable logic, digital hardware, or embedded systems development.
• Strong understanding of embedded hardware architectures and development processes.
• Proficiency with VHDL, Verilog and SystemVerilog or similar hardware design languages.
• Proficient in Python and other scripting languages.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end FPGA development activities for embedded aerospace and defense systems, from concept to integration.
• Collaborate across hardware, software, verification, and certification teams.
• Ensure FPGA artifacts meet DO-254 and AC 20-152A objectives and maintain traceability.
• Support interfacing between hardware, FPGA, and software teams.
