CS Group USA is seeking an experienced FPGA Development Engineer to lead real-time embedded FPGA activities for safety-critical airborne systems. You will drive requirements, design, and development to satisfy DO-254 objectives and support certification.

The role offers onsite (CT), hybrid, or remote options across the United States. The ideal candidate will bring 7+ years in FPGA/embedded hardware, strong VHDL/Verilog skills, and a track record of technical leadership in complex aerospace

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
• 7+ years in FPGA, programmable logic, or embedded systems.
• Experience with safety-critical hardware development and DO-254.
• Familiarity with system engineering processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead FPGA development activities from concept to integration.
• Collaborate with systems, hardware, software, verification and certification teams.
• Ensure DO-254 compliance and support certification audits.
• Define interfaces between hardware, FPGA, and software.
