CS Group USA is seeking an experienced FPGA Development Engineer to lead real-time embedded FPGA work for safety-critical airborne systems in the aerospace sector. The role involves DO-254 alignment, certification support, and cross-disciplinary collaboration across hardware, software, and verification teams.

The position can be onsite in CT, hybrid, or fully remote, reflecting the company’s flexible work model. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in FPGA/embedded hardware and strong HDL skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of FPGA, programmable logic, digital hardware, or embedded systems experience.
• Strong understanding of embedded hardware architectures and development processes.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform end-to-end FPGA development activities for embedded aerospace and defense systems from concept to integration.
• Collaborate across hardware, software, verification, and certification teams.
• Ensure compliance of FPGA development artifacts with DO-254 and AC 20-152A objectives.
• Maintain interfacing between Hardware and FPGA, and between Software and FPGA.
• Ensure traceability and alignment with devices and schedules; support junior engineers.
