Job summary

CS Group USA, a subsidiary of CS Group, seeks an FPGA Development Engineer with real-time embedded systems experience to lead requirements, design, and development for safety-critical airborne systems.

This role supports DO-254 objectives and collaborates with hardware, software, verification, and certification teams. It can be onsite in CT, hybrid, or fully remote, offering flexibility and career growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related technical field.
• 3+ years of FPGA, programmable logic, digital hardware, or embedded systems development.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end FPGA development activities for embedded aerospace and defense systems from concept to integration.
• Collaborate across hardware, software, verification, and certification teams.
• Ensure compliance of FPGA artefacts with DO-254 and AC 20-152A objectives.
• Maintain interfacing between Hardware and FPGA and between Software and FPGA.
• Ensure traceability and alignment with device-level requirements.
• Support development schedules and communicate status to stakeholders.
• Provide technical support to junior engineers.
