Ladders is seeking a Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis to lead FP&A activities for a specialized aerospace & defense portfolio. The role focuses on forecasting, planning, and financial analysis, partnering with leadership to translate data into executive-ready insights.

Qualifications

• University degree in finance or accounting or equivalent experience.
• 8 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 5 years of experience.
• Expert FP&A experience with independent results.
• Advanced skills in Excel, data modeling, and financial systems (SAP, AO, PRISM, APEX, Power BI).
• Experience with large data sets and financial analysis techniques.
• Knowledge of government compliance (CAS/FAR) and disclosure requirements.
• Ability to coach and develop junior finance professionals.
• Strong communication skills for presenting to executives.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial analysis for the portfolio, managing overhead costs across service lines.
• Oversee forecasting and planning activities, ensuring compliance with government regulations.
• Develop financial models and dashboards to support business decisions.
• Manage journal entries related to overhead expenses, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Collaborate with leadership to evaluate financial drivers and present strategic insights.
• Prepare executive-level financial briefings and translate complex data into clear narratives.
• Drive process improvements and enhance reporting capabilities.
