Job summary

Placements24 seeks a strategic Remote FP&A Manager to lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning from a remote setting. You will develop and refine financial models, drive performance insights, and support senior leadership in strategic initiatives across the renewable energy space.

The ideal candidate brings 6+ years in FP&A, strong modeling and communication skills, and proficiency with Hyperion/Anaplan/SAP BPC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related quantitative field is mandatory.
• MBA or equivalent certification (CA(SA), CFA) highly desirable.
• Minimum 6 years FP&A, corporate finance, or related field.
• Proven expertise in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Advanced Excel and FP&A tools (Hyperion, Anaplan, SAP BPC) proficiency.
• Strong accounting principles and financial reporting knowledge.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for senior audiences.
• Ability to work independently and in remote environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting and long-range financial planning processes.
• Prepare forecasts, scenario analyses, and what-if modeling for decisions.
• Analyze performance vs. budget and forecast for drivers and risks.
• Develop and present financial reports and KPI dashboards to senior management.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Marketing to align targets and insights.
• Evaluate financial implications of new initiatives and investments.
• Enhance modeling capabilities and reporting tools for efficiency.
• Provide financial analysis for potential M&A and strategic transactions.
• Ensure data integrity in planning and analysis and mentor junior staff.
