Placements24 seeks a strategic Remote FP&A Manager to lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning from a remote setting. You will develop and refine financial models, drive performance insights, and support senior leadership in strategic initiatives across the renewable energy space.

The ideal candidate brings 6+ years in FP&A, strong modeling and communication skills, and proficiency with Hyperion/Anaplan/SAP BPC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related quantitative field is mandatory.
• MBA or equivalent certification (CA(SA), CFA) highly desirable.
• Minimum 6 years FP&A, corporate finance, or related field.
• Proven expertise in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Advanced Excel and FP&A tools (Hyperion, Anaplan, SAP BPC) proficiency.
• Strong accounting principles and financial reporting knowledge.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for senior audiences.
• Ability to work independently and in remote environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting and long-range financial planning processes.

About the Role

Our client, a dynamic and innovative leader in the renewable energy sector, is actively seeking a strategic and experienced Remote Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to manage critical financial forecasting and strategic planning activities from anywhere. You will lead the FP&A function, responsible for developing financial models, budgets, forecasts, and providing actionable insights to senior leadership to drive business performance and strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate is a highly analytical, results-oriented finance professional with a proven track record in FP&A, preferably within a fast-paced or growth-oriented environment. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of the annual budgeting and long-range financial planning processes.
• Prepare comprehensive financial forecasts, scenario analyses, and "what-if" modeling to support strategic decision-making.
• Analyze financial performance against budget and forecast, identifying key drivers, trends, and potential risks or opportunities.
• Develop and present insightful financial reports and dashboards to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs) and strategic insights.
• Collaborate with various departments (Sales, Operations, Marketing, etc.) to gather data, align on financial targets, and support their strategic objectives.
• Evaluate the financial implications of new business initiatives, investments, and market opportunities.
• Enhance financial modeling capabilities and reporting tools to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Provide financial analysis and support for potential mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic transactions.
• Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial data used in planning and analysis.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field is mandatory.
• An MBA or equivalent professional certification (e.g., CA(SA), CFA) is highly desirable.
• A minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), corporate finance, or a related field.
• Proven expertise in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial planning software (e.g., Hyperion, Anaplan, SAP BPC).
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly to diverse audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a remote work environment.
• Experience in the renewable energy or a related industry is a plus.
