Job summary

Motion Recruitment Partners (MRP) seeks a Manager for Corporate FP&A on a contract, remote basis. You will own and evolve our Adaptive Planning system, while leading core FP&A work, planning, forecasting, and executive reporting.

You'll partner with Accounting and cross-functional teams, deliver insights to senior leadership, and bring AI-driven automation to day-to-day analysis. This role blends technical rigor with strategic influence.

Qualifications

• Experience in Corporate FP&A including planning, forecasting, variance analysis, and executive reporting.
• Trusted advisor to business partners and leadership with a seat at the table.
• Strong understanding of financial statements and ability to communicate results clearly, in writing and in the room.
• Hands-on experience with Adaptive Planning or comparable planning platforms and data integrations.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the Adaptive Planning financial planning system: models, workflows, and data integrations (NetSuite, Workday HCM, and other sources).
• Partner across Corporate FP&A on planning, forecasting, analysis, and reporting cycles; surface key issues and drivers for leadership.
• Consolidate financial forecasts and build presentations/narratives for senior executives.
• Collaborate with Accounting on changes to financial statement presentation and ensure cross-system consistency.
• Apply AI and automation to FP&A work (e.g., Claude Cowork) to speed up analysis and reporting.
• Tackle ad hoc analysis and cross-functional financial projects as needed.
