Job summary

Cypress HCM in San Jose, CA seeks a Corporate FP&A Manager to own and evolve our Adaptive Planning system and lead core FP&A work for senior leadership. You will build models, drive planning cycles, and deliver insights to executives.

You will partner with finance and cross-functional teams to forecast, analyze variances, and present narratives. Bring AI-driven automation to routines, integrating NetSuite and Workday HCM for unified planning.

Qualifications

• Proven Corporate FP&A experience: planning, forecasting, variance analysis, executive reporting.
• Trusted advisor to business partners and leadership presence.
• Strong communication of complex financial results in writing and in meetings.
• Adaptive knowledge of finance systems and processes.
• Full P&L understanding and finance system knowledge.
• Experience with Claude preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own Adaptive Planning financial planning system: models, workflows, and data integrations.
• Partner across Corporate FP&A on planning, forecasting, analysis, and reporting cycles; surface key issues for leadership.
• Consolidate forecasts and craft presentations for senior executives.
• Collaborate with Accounting on financial statement presentation and cross-system consistency.
• Introduce AI and automation to FP&A workflows; speed up analysis and reporting.
• Handle ad hoc analyses and cross-functional financial projects.

You'll own and evolve our financial planning system (Adaptive Planning) while also rolling up your sleeves on core Corporate FP&A work: planning, forecasting, analysis, and reporting that goes straight to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the owner of our Adaptive Planning financial planning system: build, maintain, and continuously improve the models, workflows, and data integrations (NetSuite, Workday HCM, and other source systems) that power company-wide planning and reporting.
• Partner across Corporate FP&A on core planning, forecasting, analysis, and reporting cycles, including variance analysis against plan and forecast, and surfacing the key issues, risks, and business drivers leadership needs to see.
• Consolidate financial forecasts and build the presentations and narratives shared directly with senior executives.
• Partner closely with Accounting on changes to financial statement presentation and ensure consistency across systems.
• Bring AI and automation into everyday FP&A work, using tools like Claude Cowork to speed up analysis, streamline reporting, and free up time for higher-value strategic work.
• Take on ad hoc analysis and cross-functional financial projects as they come up, because in this role, they will.

Requirements

• Proven experience in Corporate FP&A: planning, forecasting, variance analysis, and executive-level reporting.
• A track record of being a trusted advisor to business partners and earning a seat at the table with leadership.
• Strong command of financial statements and the ability to communicate complex financial results clearly and confidently, in writing and in the room.

Pay Rate

• $125-$135/hour
