Job summary

Vaco by Highspring is hiring a Financial Analyst in Chandler, AZ, offering a mostly remote work setup with occasional in-office collaboration. You will support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning while building analytical models and KPI dashboards to drive business decisions.

In this role you will partner with finance leadership, deliver insightful analyses to senior leaders, and contribute to process improvements across reporting and forecasting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
• 2+ years FP&A or financial analysis experience.
• Experience supporting a manufacturing or product-based business.
• Advanced Excel capabilities including lookups, pivot tables, formulas, and financial reporting functions.
• Knowledge of financial statements and KPIs.
• Experience creating financial models and ad hoc analysis.
• Understanding of accounting principles, general ledger activity, and financial reporting processes.
• Strong analytical mindset to identify trends and explain performance.
• Ability to thrive in a deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze recurring financial reports to support business performance reviews.
• Assist with budget planning, forecasting activities, and long-range financial projections.
• Develop analytical models used to evaluate business performance and operational initiatives.
• Produce management reporting and KPI dashboards using Excel and business intelligence tools.
• Monitor financial results, identify performance trends, and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Investigate variances and provide recommendations based on underlying business drivers.
• Generate actionable insights from large and complex data sets.
• Partner with accounting and operational teams to improve reporting accuracy and decision support.
• Deliver financial presentations and analysis to leadership teams.
• Contribute to process improvements and ongoing reporting enhancements.
