Job summary

Vaco Recruiter Services is seeking an FP&A Analyst for a fully remote contract assignment. The role focuses on building financial models, KPIs, and dashboards, plus providing variance analysis and executive reporting across multiple units.

Expect a minimum two-month engagement with potential for extension based on performance. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting, or Economics and 3–5 years of FP&A experience, with advanced Excel skills and experience with financial

Qualifications

3–5 years of FP&A or similar analytical experience.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
Advanced Excel skills with multi-tab models.
Experience with financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
Ability to develop KPIs, dashboards, and analytical tools.
Experience in multi-site or multi-unit environments (preferred).

Responsibilities

Own monthly and year-to-date financial reporting across multiple units and regions.
Build and maintain complex Excel models with financial data.
Consolidate P&L information for company-wide reporting.
Perform actual vs. budget vs. prior year variance and trend analysis.
Develop KPI dashboards and analytical frameworks.
Support monthly close, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
Prepare financial commentary for executive reporting.
Work with operations to understand business performance.
