Job summary

Vaco has partnered with a publicly traded company undergoing a major finance systems transformation. They are seeking an experienced FP&A Consultant with strong planning and analysis expertise to support budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.

Responsibilities include month-end close support, consolidations, complex Excel models, and ERP testing/transition activities. Remote position with local AZ preference; start ASAP for a project through end of 2027.

Qualifications

• FP&A Manager or strong Senior Financial Analyst experience.
• Advanced Excel in complex, multi-workbook environments.
• Forecasting, budgeting, reporting, consolidations, and variance analysis.
• Resolve data inconsistencies across multiple systems.
• Excellent communication to present insights and partner with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own budgeting, forecasting, and month-end close support processes.
• Perform corporate consolidations and variance analysis across multiple regions.
• Build and maintain complex Excel-based financial models, reporting packages, and executive presentations.
• Investigate financial discrepancies and reconcile data across systems and workbooks.
• Support testing, design, and transition activities related to ERP implementation.
