Job summary

Vaco by Highspring is seeking a Financial Analyst to support financial planning, analysis, and reporting. The role partners with finance and business leaders to drive insights and better decision-making across the organization.

The ideal candidate will be analytical, detail-oriented, and capable of working with large datasets to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 4-6 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or related field.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (financial modeling, data analysis).
• Experience with financial systems and reporting tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning.
• Analyze financial results and provide variance analysis against budget and prior periods.
• Develop and maintain financial models to support business decisions.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc financial reports.
• Analyze key financial and operational metrics to identify trends and insights.
• Support leadership with data-driven recommendations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business drivers.
• Provide financial insight to support operational and strategic initiatives.
• Assist in evaluating business opportunities, investments, and cost-saving initiatives.
• Gather, analyze, and interpret large data sets; identify opportunities to improve reporting processes and data accuracy.
