Job summary

Vaco by Highspring is seeking an FP&A Analyst for a fully remote contract opportunity. This hands-on role is a builder position focused on creating and maintaining financial models, developing KPIs and dashboards, and delivering executive-level commentary on performance.

You will own monthly close support, Actual vs. Budget vs. Prior Year analysis, and multi-site reporting, consolidating P&L data across regions and preparing clear financial insights for leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related quantitative field.
• 3-5 years of FP&A, corporate finance, or similar analytical role.
• Experience in multi-site, multi-unit, or portfolio-company environments preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills with complex, multi-tab financial models.
• Experience with financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting and variance analysis.
• Ability to develop KPIs, dashboards, and analytical tools.

Responsibilities

• Own monthly and YTD financial reporting across multiple business units and regions.
• Build and maintain complex Excel-based financial models using financial and operational data.
• Consolidate site- and region-level P&L information into company-wide reporting.
• Perform Actual vs. Budget vs. Prior Year variance and trend analysis.
• Build and maintain KPI dashboards around revenue, margins, labor costs, and operating performance.
• Develop new metrics, scorecards, and analytical frameworks as business needs evolve.
• Analyze financial performance and identify drivers behind results and variances.
• Partner with Operations and site leadership to understand business performance.
• Prepare clear financial commentary and executive-level reporting.
• Support monthly close, budgeting, forecasting, and other financial analysis.
• Assist with financial statement analysis, EBITDA bridges, cash flow analysis, and other projects.
• Identify opportunities to improve accuracy and efficiency of financial reporting.
