Job summary

Giga Energy is hiring a Forward Deployed Product Manager focusing on internal tools and automation. You will embed with operators, define core records, and partner with engineers to build integrations, deterministic automations, and AI-assisted workflows that improve speed, accuracy, and visibility.

The role emphasizes hands-on prototyping, data-driven decision making, and ownership of the business outcome, roadmap, and adoption across distributed stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience owning an internal product or cross-functional workflow from ambiguity to delivery and measurable results.
• Ability to surface undocumented rules, exceptions, and ownership gaps.
• Fluency with relational data concepts and data quality considerations.
• Ability to write and review SQL to inspect and validate operational data.
• Familiarity with APIs, integrations, and failure handling.

Responsibilities

• Discover and document critical workflows with operators.
• Define records, identifiers, lifecycle states, and decision rules.
• Use data to reconcile records and test assumptions.
• Map information flows across systems, spreadsheets, APIs, and handoffs.
• Prototype deterministic automation or AI-assisted workflows with proper review paths.
• Sequence changes and tools into small, measurable releases.
• Write workflow briefs, data contracts, and acceptance criteria.
• Partner with engineers on architecture while owning outcomes and adoption.
• Lead rollout, training, migration, and support planning.
• Measure releases by cycle time, accuracy, and visibility.
• Maintain permissions, auditability, and data-handling controls.
• Maintain a roadmap prioritized by value and risk.
