Job summary

Archera is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to bridge our platform with enterprise customers and partners. You will own technical discovery, API integrations, and commitment modeling to optimize cloud spend and service agility.

You will engage across sales, product, and engineering, explaining complex concepts to technical directors and CFOs alike. This remote US role includes light travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in hands-on technical roles with customer- or partner-facing work.
• Deep hands-on Azure experience with commitment and discount constructs and billing mechanics.
• Proficient with APIs, Git, scripting, IaC, and CI/CD; able to walk through architecture.
• Demonstrated ability to debug integration failures with a third party and drive fixes to closure.
• The discipline to validate numbers against source data before presenting to customers.
• Ability to translate technical designs for non-technical executives.

Responsibilities

• Own engagements from scoping to production.
• Build integrations and prototypes against partner and hyperscaler APIs; deliver MVPs and proofs of concept.
• Model and defend commitment strategy against live cloud usage and related economics.
• Tackle hard technical problems such as onboarding, permissions, and production escalations.
• Collaborate with Sales, Partner Development, Alliances, and GTM on large enterprise pursuits.
• Close the loop with Product and Engineering; document issues and feed market feedback into feature requests.
• Maintain technical documentation for partner training and certification.
