Job summary

Neara is looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer to serve as the technical expert for our major enterprise customers. You will be embedded with clients, designing and building custom, high‑impact solutions on the Neara platform to automate workflows and unlock new capabilities.

You will translate business needs into technical designs, lead hands‑on training, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure the platform aligns with customer priorities, delivering measurable value across

Qualifications

• Experience as Software Engineer or Forward‑Deployed Engineer building enterprise solutions.
• Strong experience with TypeScript, JavaScript, Java, and Python; proficient with Git, Node, npm, and the terminal.
• Proven ability to rapidly understand and utilize proprietary SDKs and RESTful APIs (OpenAPI) to deliver integrated solutions.
• Skilled in data analysis and building tailored tools to drive customer value.
• Excellent communication of complex technical topics to engineers and executives.

Responsibilities

• Actively develop custom solutions using the Neara SDK and APIs.
• Build visualizations, calculations, and data‑analysis features.
• Create UI elements to automate complex workflows.
• Integrate project data with external enterprise systems via APIs.
• Translate business needs into clear technical designs and implementation plans.
• Lead hands‑on training and workshops on the Neara SDK and best practices.
• Collaborate with adjacent teams to identify customer needs and growth opportunities.
• Lead configuration, reporting, and data integration to align the platform with customer priorities.
