Job summary

Truelogic is seeking its first Forward Deployed Engineer to build automation solutions across complex product and operational workflows. The role sits within DevOps but collaborates broadly with Process Improvement, Product Owners, and IT teams to address end-to-end workflows and cross-system handoffs.

The ideal candidate will translate ambiguous problems into technical interventions, design and productionize automation, and drive implementations with strong ownership and autonomy.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience as a Forward Deployed Engineer or equivalent role.
• Strong software engineering background; able to build production-quality solutions.
• Experience implementing workflow automation solutions.
• Experience working with business stakeholders to discover and define problems.
• Ability to operate in ambiguous environments without detailed requirements.
• Experience taking solutions from discovery through production.
• Strong systems-thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work across APIs, integrations, internal tools, and production systems.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Process Improvement, Product, DevOps, IT, Security, and other functions to identify workflow problems.
• Translate ambiguous business problems into concrete technical approaches.
• Map workflows, systems, stakeholders, handoffs, dependencies, and bottlenecks.
• Identify automation opportunities and determine suitable technical interventions.
• Design, prototype, build, and productionize automation solutions.
• Integrate solutions with existing internal systems and APIs.
• Communicate technical tradeoffs clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Own end-to-end implementation from discovery to production.
