Job summary

Natera, Inc. is seeking a Forward Deployed Solutions Engineer to design, build, and run AI-driven workflows across domains such as Commercial, Clinical Operations, and Lab Operations.

You’ll partner with domain leadership, map data flows, and implement agent-based automation that delivers measurable throughput gains and reliability. You’ll own end-to-end production pipelines, define what the agent does versus what humans do, and ensure secure, auditable use of tools in a large enterprise

Qualifications

• Hands-on technical fluency with CLIs, APIs, webhooks, SQL, and Python.
• Experience with LLM and agent behavior — prompting, context, tool use, RAG, MCP, evals, failure modes.
• Be very comfortable with a cloud platform and elevated access controls.

Responsibilities

• Map and optimize domain workflows using AI agents and automation.
• Design target workflows including agent vs human handoffs and handoff points.
• Build, connect, and run agents and automation pipelines in production.
• Measure KPIs: throughput, quality, cost, human intervention rate, cycle time, adoption.
• Triage failures, iterate prompts and context, and improve workflows.
• Instrument observability with tracing, logs, and dashboards.
