Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to design, build, and deploy enterprise-grade agent AI solutions inside customer environments. You will be a hands-on technical builder, connecting multi-agent orchestration with existing enterprise platforms and data sources.

From day one you will write production code, implement real-time grounding, and define agent reasoning and tool-calling logic, while collaborating with Deployment Strategists and AI engineers to deploy end-to-end workflows

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software engineering or technical delivery experience with production AI or enterprise integrations.
• Hands-on AI grounding expertise, including LLM orchestration and RAG pipelines.
• Experience with API design (REST/SOAP/webhooks) and agent protocols (MCP).
• Experience with middleware like MuleSoft or custom solutions connecting to ERP systems.
• Knowledge of data modeling, schema design, and asynchronous messaging.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy enterprise-grade agent AI solutions inside customer environments.
• Develop real-time data grounding systems and multi-agent coordination.
• Implement agent communication protocols and tool calling logic.
• Create APIs and integration pipelines to connect AFO/Agentforce to Salesforce Data Cloud, Snowflake, and ERP systems.
• Develop telemetry dashboards and monitoring for agent performance.
