Job summary

Kinaxis is seeking engineers to join a Forward Deployed team delivering Agentic AI solutions on the Kinaxis Maestro Platform. You will prototype, deploy, and own customer deployments from infrastructure to user adoption, collaborating across product, engineering, and customer teams.

You will work in a fast-paced, startup-like POD culture with ownership and high agency, traveling up to 50% as required and mentoring customers to adopt new ways of working. Remote-friendly in the US and Canada.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of professional experience in software engineering, data engineering, solutions engineering, or a technical‑founder role.
• Strong candidates at either end of that range are welcome to apply.
• Prior exposure to customer‑facing technical roles solutions engineering, forward deployment, or a startup where you wore multiple hats is a strong signal.
• Proficiency in at least one backend language (Python strongly preferred) and ability to read and contribute across a polyglot codebase.
• Experience with REST and streaming APIs, authentication patterns, and integration with enterprise systems.
• Experience building LLM-based applications and agentic workflows is a plus.
• Familiarity with data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery) and data modeling.

Responsibilities

• Own customer solutions end-to-end in live environments with real stakes and tight timelines.
• Deliver relentless customer value and become the technical face in rooms from IC to executive sponsor.
• Run multiple customer engagements in parallel based on priorities and pod capacity.
• Operate as a small, tight, multi-disciplinary unit with focus and urgency.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to turn field learnings into durable platform capabilities.
• Drive adoption and mentor customer operators through solution transitions to ensure lasting change.
