Job summary

Kinaxis is seeking Forward Deployment Engineers to partner with customers across the supply chain. You will design, build, and ship Agentic AI solutions on the Maestro Platform, operating in a pod with a startup mindset.

You’ll own end-to-end customer engagements, mentor operators, and translate field learnings into platform capabilities, working with Product and Engineering to drive adoption and tangible business impact.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of professional experience in software engineering, data engineering, solutions engineering, or a technical-founders role.
• Hands-on experience building LLM-based applications and agentic workflows.
• Proficiency in at least one backend language (Python strongly preferred).
• Experience with REST and streaming APIs and integration with enterprise systems.
• Familiarity with data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery) and data modeling.

Responsibilities

• Own customer solutions end-to-end, prototyping and deploying in live environments.
• Build trusted relationships from individual contributors to executive sponsors.
• Manage multiple engagements in parallel and set expectations with customers.
• Operate as a small, tight, multi-disciplinary unit with shared ownership.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to convert field learnings into durable platform capabilities.
• Mentor customer operators and guide teams through solution transitions to drive adoption.
