Job summary

Stanislaus Food Products is a nationally recognized family-owned producer of Italian-style tomatoes and sauces, seeking a Remote Business Development Representative in Maryland to cover Baltimore. You will engage chefs and owners, conduct tastings, and drive new business with distributors.

This is a full-time remote role with travel to clients as needed. Requirements include 3+ years sales, 2+ years culinary experience, and the ability to meet quotas while working remotely.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of proven sales experience, preferably in foodservice, restaurant, or distribution.
• Minimum 2+ years of culinary experience working in restaurant operations.
• Willing to travel daily to visit clients and develop new business.
• Minimum 2+ years of strong prospecting skills, including door-to-door outreach.
• Self-motivated with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas in a competitive environment.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Passion for supporting and growing small, independent restaurant businesses.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Walk into restaurant kitchens, engage chefs and owners, and conduct tastings to show our products’魅力.
• Influence potential customers to begin purchasing our products from distributors.
• Sell with a results-oriented drive and meet quotas.
• Maintain confidence and display an exuberant attitude.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and travel to client sites.
• Present effectively with strong verbal and written communication.
