Job summary

Stanislaus Food Products, a national leader in Italian-style tomatoes and sauces, seeks a Business Development Representative to grow revenue among independent restaurateurs in Maryland and surrounding areas. The role involves in-person tastings, client visits, and remote account development with commission-based growth opportunities.

You will travel daily to client sites, engage chefs and owners, and build lasting relationships to expand distribution through distributors.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years of culinary experience in restaurant operations.
• Strong prospecting skills, including door-to-door outreach.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building abilities.
• Conversational in Spanish.
• Willing to travel daily to visit clients and conduct in-person meetings.

Responsibilities

• Sell Stanislaus products to quality mom & pop restaurateurs through targeted account development.
• Conduct side-by-side tastings in restaurant kitchens to demonstrate product quality.
• Influence restaurants to purchase through distributors.
• Meet or exceed sales quotas while working remotely.
• Develop new business and growth opportunities in designated markets.
