Job summary

Relativity is seeking a FOIA Data Migration & Compliance Lead to drive end-to-end migration projects for government clients into RelativityOne, partnering with engineering to define tooling requirements and deliver secure data handling for highly sensitive DT1 information. Candidates must meet FedRAMP significant-change processes, FIPS 140-3, and NIST frameworks, with a requirement to obtain Public Trust clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/Information Management or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience with government agencies, public-sector organizations, or regulated-industry customers in a technical/consulting capacity.
• Demonstrated experience in data migration, data integration, or data engineering, including designing and executing migrations of structured and/or semi-structured data sets.
• Working knowledge of SQL and experience querying and transforming data. Hands‑on experience with data formats, transformation tools, and scripting languages relevant to migration work (Python, PowerShell, JSON, XML, CSV processing).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for technical and non-technical government stakeholders.
• Experience in a product owner or technical lead capacity—capturing requirements, documenting specifications, and driving iterative delivery engineering.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust designation as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end FOIA data migration projects for new government customers into RelativityOne.
• Develop and execute migration plans including data mapping, validation, transformation, and cutover strategies.
• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for FOIA agency customers throughout the migration lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot and resolve migration issues with engineering.
• Lead backlog for the Data Migration Utility and balance short-term delivery with long-term scalability.
• Write user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specs; test and validate features.
• Document tool capabilities, configurations, and migration best practices.
• Enable FOIA agency customers with tailored migration guidance and governance knowledge.
• Collaborate with TAM and CS teams to onboard new FOIA agency customers and establish repeatable playbooks.
• Represent customer needs and feedback to internal product and engineering teams.
