Job summary

Relativity is seeking a FOIA Data Migration & Compliance Lead to direct end-to-end migration projects for government agencies, ensuring secure, compliant transfers into RelativityOne. You will partner with engineering to define tooling, while engaging FOIA customers to meet their migration needs and adhere to FedRAMP/FISMA standards.

The role requires U.S. citizenship, Public Trust eligibility, and collaboration across product, security, and customer success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a related field.
• Experience working directly with government agencies, public-sector, or regulated customers in a technical/consulting role.
• Experience in data migration, data integration, or data engineering, including designing/executing migrations of structured/semi-structured data.
• Working knowledge of SQL and experience querying/transformation of data; hands-on with data formats, transformation tools, and scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, JSON, XML, CSV).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to translate technical concepts for government stakeholders.
• Experience in a product owner or technical lead role—capturing requirements, documenting specs, driving iterative delivery.
• Ability to obtain/maintain Public Trust designation; candidates with existing clearance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end FOIA data migration projects for new government customers, ensuring accurate, secure migration into RelativityOne.
• Develop and execute migration plans including data mapping, validation, transformation logic, and cutover strategies.
• Serve as primary technical contact for FOIA customers across migration lifecycle from planning to validation.
• Troubleshoot migration issues, data anomalies, and integration challenges with engineering.
• Lead for the Data Migration Utility: backlog, feature specs, testing, and feedback with engineering/product teams.
• Document tool capabilities, configurations, and migration best practices.
• Apply FOIA/regulatory knowledge to tailor migration guidance for agencies.
• Collaborate across teams to create playbooks and success criteria for FOIA migrations.
