Job summary

AHF Products is seeking a Business Development Representative to work remotely in the Northern San Francisco area. The role focuses on actively seeking prospects, engaging customers, and cultivating relationships to create opportunities for Armstrong Flooring, Crossville Tile, and AHF Contract.

You will target potential clients and position product solutions to influence specifications and drive top-line revenue.

Qualifications

• Experience in outside sales to a varied client base.
• Flooring product knowledge preferred.
• Proven success selling to large corporate clients.
• Knowledge of specifications, design and project phases.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage relationships with End Users, Architect/Interior Designers, Flooring Contractors, and other buyers to establish trust and partnerships.
• Research purchase needs and adjust sales tactics based on insights.
• Present, promote, and sell the company’s products and services to new and existing buyers to influence specifications.
• Identify new service opportunities to grow existing accounts and strengthen relationships.
• Reach out to new customers through networking, social media, and cold calling.
• Develop networks to obtain market intelligence and stay competitive.
• Create and execute marketing campaigns, events and sponsorships to increase brand awareness and sales.
• Collaborate with customer support and management during specification and order fulfillment; communicate project details for successful implementation.
• Assist client in budgeting; prepare and submit pricing and bids for approval.
• Prepare accurate sales projections and provide forecasts for planning.
• Utilize CRM to manage customer profiles and accounts.
• Assist Management in annual/quarterly/monthly strategy and sales plans.
• Identify product voids or improvements.
