Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Remote Fleet Operations Coordinator to manage daily fleet activities from anywhere in South Africa. You will monitor vehicle performance, coordinate maintenance, and liaise with drivers to ensure on-time deliveries while complying with transport regulations.

The role requires strong organizational and analytical skills, plus experience with fleet management software and GPS tracking in a remote setting.

Responsibilities

• Monitor fuel consumption and implement efficiency strategies.
• Liaise with drivers to provide route guidance and ensure schedule adherence.
• Maintain records of fleet data, including mileage and service history.
• Identify and resolve logistical challenges and delivery disruptions.
• Generate regular reports on fleet performance and costs.
