Qualifications

• Proven experience in Fleet Management or a senior logistics role.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance, regulatory compliance, and transport operations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in fleet management software and systems.
• Ability to analyze data and make informed operational decisions.
• Familiarity with the Gauteng transportation landscape is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the vehicle fleet, including scheduling and resource allocation.
• Oversee vehicle maintenance, repairs, and inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
• Monitor driver performance, conduct training, and enforce company policies.
• Control operational costs, including fuel, maintenance, and insurance expenses.
• Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and licensing requirements.
