Job summary

Lumen, a leader in AI-ready connectivity, seeks a Fleet Manager to oversee asset acquisition, maintenance, and disposal within a U.S. geography.

You will coordinate vendor resources, manage budgets, and ensure safe, reliable assets to support business objectives. In this role, you will partner with operations, management, and suppliers to optimize fleet performance, drive improvements, and ensure compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform in unstructured environments with limited oversight.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies, procedures, regulations, strategies and directions.
• Excellent relationship building and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize, organize, and accomplish tasks with limited timelines.
• Strong oral and written communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage operating expenses and capital budgets to achieve cost targets.
• Partner with departments to align fleet execution with business objectives.
• Communicate with leadership, operations, vendors, and support teams to address fleet issues.
• Identify and redeploy underutilized fleet assets.
• Ensure compliance with policies, maintenance schedules, and safety standards.
• Coordinate with contracted call centers to review repair requests.
• Monitor fleet performance and drive continuous improvement.
• Track warranties and recalls for cost recovery.
