We seek a Fleet Manager for a remote U.S. role to lead asset management, budgets, and operations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and alignment with business goals.

You will partner with multiple departments to optimize utilization, drive continuous improvement, and manage vendor performance through KPIs in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3 years Fleet Management/Industry Experience supervising a medium size Fleet Organization.
• Experience with vehicle repairs and maintenance.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.

Responsibilities

• Manage operating expense and capital budgets to achieve cost-per-mile, utilization, and fleet sizing targets.
• Analyze data to identify performance issues and implement corrective actions.
• Partner with vehicle- and equipment-using departments to understand operational needs and align fleet execution with business objectives.
• Communicate and collaborate with Business Unit leadership, operations management, vendors, contractors, and internal support teams to address fleet issues impacting service delivery.
• Identify and coordinate the recovery of underutilized fleet assets and redeploy/retire/dispose as appropriate.
• Ensure compliance with policies, preventive maintenance, DOT/ANSI inspection requirements and safety standards.
• Coordinate with contracted call-center operations to review and authorize repair and maintenance requests; assess vendor performance.
• Monitor fleet asset performance and resolve issues; manage vendor performance using KPIs (cost, repair cycle time, repeat repairs).
• Track and manage fleet warranties and recalls to ensure compliance and cost recovery.
