Job summary

Amerit Fleet Solutions is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Manager to lead a team of technicians and mechanics across multiple locations in a remote-based role with travel. The role focuses on a rigorous preventive maintenance program, ensuring safe, efficient fleet operations and DOT compliance.

Compensation is competitive and includes bonus opportunities. The ideal candidate has 5–8 years of direct management experience in fleet maintenance, plus 2 years in operations.

Qualifications

• Must possess leadership experience and oversee teams in a maintenance environment.
• Experience with fleet maintenance operations and DOT regulations.
• Strong communication and documentation skills; proficient with MS Office and fleet software.

Responsibilities

• Lead, educate and develop employees across multiple shops.
• Monitor performance and be accessible to all shop areas.
• Oversee multiple shop operations and plan daily manpower.
