Leidos QTC Health Services seeks a Fleet Coordinator Specialist to support fleet operations, routing coordination and compliance monitoring. The role requires collaboration with Fleet Leadership and provides advisory support within a matrix structure.

The position is fully remote with up to 60% travel as directed by leadership, offering opportunities to influence daily transportation planning, safety checks, and operational efficiency across MMC routes.

Qualifications

• Level II: HS Diploma with 1-3 years of relevant experience.
• Level III: HS Diploma with 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to travel up to 60%.
• Familiarization with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) and DOT requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide routing input: Advise leadership on driver assignments and routing decisions, review active routes, and offer guidance as needed.
• Oversee MMC routes and support necessary route planning adjustments.
• Coordinate maintenance schedules with the Maintenance FLC Admin to reflect in routing.
• Coordinate special events requiring transportation, conduct biomed inspections, and track holidays affecting travel and routing.
• Assist with travel arrangements and general logistics for operations.
• Monitor hours and logs (ELDs, drive times) to ensure DOT compliance.
• Escalate compliance issues to leadership (Hours of Service, route compliance).
• Conduct monthly safety verifications for equipment and documentation.
• Report safety metrics and AED verifications to Fleet Supervisor, Manager, and Biomed team.
• Perform signage reviews and quarterly reviews of signage across MMC units.
• Track financial records, unmatched fuel reports, POs/BPOs, and assist with PO creation.
• Maintain documentation with spreadsheets and database reports for leadership.
• Audit data for MCO Console activity, mileage reports for MMCs, and discrepancies.
• Assist leadership in auditing completed work and reporting findings.
• Lead weekly driver meetings and participate in routing meetings, weather/safety calls, and department meetings.
