Job summary

Coinbase is seeking a Senior Finance Analytics professional to shape the financial data foundations used by Accounting/FP&A, Treasury and reporting teams. You’ll operate at the intersection of data engineering, data science and business analytics, owning source-of-truth datasets in Snowflake/Databricks and the pipelines that support month-end close.

You will design scalable batch and near-real-time pipelines with Airflow/dbt, enforce data quality and SOX controls, and mentor Analytics Engineers

Qualifications

• Accounting exposure through degree or CPA/CMA.
• Expert SQL and strong Python.
• Deep data modeling with star/snowflake schemas.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end and quarter-end close with datasets and reporting.
• Ensure SOX-compliant controls and data lineage.
• Design and own curated financial datasets in Snowflake/Databricks.
• Build scalable pipelines with Airflow/dbt and manage runbooks.
• Define data quality, reconciliation frameworks and SLAs.
• Drive data contracts with upstream teams and mentor engineers.
