Job summary

SANDOW is hiring a Staff Accountant to perform full-cycle accounting and financial statement preparation. The ideal candidate is self-motivated and detail-oriented, reporting to the Director of Accounting. This role offers growth opportunities and exposure to new challenges within the Accounting team.

The position is remote-first with occasional on-site work at our Boca Raton, FL office, coordinating with the corporate team on financial processes and audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
• 2+ years of related accounting experience.
• Excellent verbal, written, and collaboration skills.
• Hands-on work at all levels.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Word, Outlook, and Excel; Dynamics 365 BC is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform month-end close activities and journal entries for all accounts.
• Conduct balance sheet and P&L analysis and ensure GAAP compliance.
• Reconcile cash, AR, and deferred revenue; publish monthly statements.
• Ensure correct revenue/expense coding with Finance team.
• Develop proficiency with financial and billing systems related to the role.
• Assist with audit schedules and supporting documents.
• Perform special projects as assigned.
