Job summary

Workweek is hiring the first dedicated member of our finance team to own the books and drive an automation-forward finance function. You will manage month-end close, revenue recognition, accruals, billing, AR/AP, and reporting to keep a lean finance operation moving. You’ll design processes and stacks with a CFO’s backing as you grow.

We seek an accountant with GAAP fluency, cross-functional experience, and a mindset for building scalable workflows in a remote-friendly environment across the US.

Qualifications

• 4-7 years in accounting or finance operations at an early-stage or high-growth company.
• Strong GAAP accrual accounting knowledge (ASC 606, accruals, prepaids, timing).
• Experience with end-to-end month-end close.
• Hands-on with AP/AR, billing, and GL review.

Responsibilities

• Own accounting, month-end close, and cash management.
• Own commission/variable-comp accruals end to end.
