Qualifications

• 12+ years of software engineering leadership across a platform spanning multiple teams.
• Deep IAM expertise across workforce identity, authorization, access lifecycle, or non-human identity.
• Production Go experience and distributed systems design on AWS with OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, SCIM and workload identity patterns.
• Proven influence at senior levels—shaping tech direction and aligning on access-risk problems.
• Ability to translate audit and regulatory requirements into automated controls with clear communication.
• Responsible use of generative AI with human oversight to improve workflows and quality.

Responsibilities

• Own the multi-year IAM technical strategy end to end, including architecture for workforce, AI agent, and service/workload identity.
• Drive architecture decisions across pods and teams, setting standards and integration contracts.
• Build adoption strategy for 700+ systems, outlining migration paths and build-vs-buy decisions.
• Translate audit/regulatory requirements into automated controls and self-generating evidence.
• Lead the data model and tooling to answer who has access to what and why across a diverse estate.
• Mentor staff and raise the org's depth in identity as a domain.
