Job summary

Journey seeks a Proposal Manager to own the end-to-end proposal process, coordinating with subject matter experts across the organization and ensuring timely, accurate submissions. You will collaborate to build scalable workflows, strengthen content libraries, and apply AI and automation to speed proposals.

This hands-on IC role involves managing multiple opportunities, aligning timelines, and delivering high-quality buyer-facing materials while contributing to Journey’s growth trajectory.

Qualifications

• 4+ years managing complex RFPs, RFIs, or grants, owning process end-to-end.
• Strong writing, editing, and attention to detail.
• Strong commercial judgment and ability to drive cross-functional work.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive RFPs and RFIs from intake through final submission, ensuring every requirement is addressed and nothing falls through the cracks.
• Independently manage multiple active proposals with different requirements, stakeholders, deadlines, and stages of completion.
• Review opportunities, determine requirements and next steps, build project plans, coordinate cross-functional inputs, follow up and expedite blockers.
• Draft, edit, and strengthen proposal responses, tailoring content to each prospect and opportunity with SMEs.
• Conduct final QA and coordinate submission, ensuring complete, accurate, compelling, compliant responses.
• Maintain visibility into status, owners, next steps, deadlines, and risks across proposals.
• Improve proposal processes, workflows, SLAs, and content library; leverage AI/automation.
• Identify and implement AI/tools to accelerate proposal development and scalability.
• Support active deals with custom proposals, ROI analyses, etc.
