Job summary

Journey Technology is seeking a Proposal Manager to own the end-to-end proposal process from intake through submission, coordinating with subject matter experts and driving on-time, compelling responses. You'll build a scalable function, optimize workflows, and leverage AI and automation to move opportunities forward while supporting active deals with customized proposals and ROI analyses.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience managing complex RFPs, RFIs, or grant proposals.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.
• Strong writing, editing, and attention to detail.
• Strong commercial judgment and ability to drive cross-functional work.
• Experience with proposal management software such as Loopio, Responsive, Qvidian, or similar.
• Experience in healthcare, employee benefits, behavioral health or digital health environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive RFPs and RFIs from intake through final submission.
• Independently manage multiple active proposals with different requirements and deadlines.
• Review opportunities, determine requirements, and build project plans with cross-functional inputs.
• Draft, edit, and strengthen proposal responses with SME input.
• Conduct final QA and coordinate submission to ensure completeness and compliance.
• Maintain visibility into status, owners, deadlines, and risks across proposals.
• Continuously improve proposal processes, workflows, SLAs, and content library.
• Identify opportunities to use AI, automation, and technology to speed up development.
• Support active deals with custom proposals and ROI analyses as capacity allows.
