Job summary

Elastic, the Search AI Company, is seeking a Principal Product Manager to guide the vision, strategy, and execution for the Elastic Agent Builder. You will shape how enterprises build, manage, and scale context for AI agents in a remote-first environment, partnering with senior leadership and a global community of developers.

You will bring 10+ years in product management for cloud/platform products, drive a core context engineering roadmap, collaborate with data science and design, and

Qualifications

• 10+ years of product management or solution delivery for technical, cloud infrastructure, or platform products.
• Deep technical understanding of AI/ML, including LLMs, RAG architectures, vector databases, and context engineering.
• Ability to move fast, learn from experiments, and use AI tools to accelerate decisions.
• Leadership across a matrixed, remote-first organization with cross-functional influence.
• Outstanding spoken and written skills for technical and non-technical audiences, including execs.
• A passion for industry trends and building products for developers.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with enterprise customers, sales, and solution architects to define priorities and needs.
• Roadmap core context engineering capabilities on Elastic-powered retrieval and relevance for AI agents.
• Analyze AI Agent market trends and strategic impact.
• Partner with data science and engineering to benchmark agent capabilities.
• Work with design to create experiences that show and refine context for agents.
• Evangelize Agent Builder via blogs and open-source projects.
• Engage with AI partners including cloud providers and community developers.
