Job summary

Elastic is seeking a Principal Product Manager to guide vision, strategy, and execution for the Elastic Agent Builder. You will define how enterprises build, manage, and scale context for AI agents, collaborating with senior leadership and hyperscalers to evangelize solutions globally.

You will work with enterprise customers, sales teams, and engineers to shape requirements, roadmaps, and success metrics in a fast-paced, remote-first setting.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of product management or solution delivery experience in technical, cloud infrastructure, or platform products.
• Deep technical understanding of AI/ML landscape including LLMs, RAG architectures, vector databases and context engineering.
• Ability to move fast, learn from experiments, and use AI tools to accelerate decisions.
• Leadership across a matrixed organization in a remote-first environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, able to explain engineering details to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with enterprise customers, sales, and solution architects to understand requirements and priorities.
• Build and socialize a roadmap for core context engineering capabilities built on Elastic retrieval and relevance for AI Agents.
• Understand the AI Agent market and trends to inform strategy.
• Collaborate with data science and engineering to benchmark and evaluate agent capabilities.
• Partner with design to create user experiences addressing context gaps.
• Evangelize Agent Builder capabilities through content like blogs and open source projects.
• Engage with AI partners including cloud providers and developers.
