Job summary

Elastic is seeking a Principal Product Manager to guide vision, strategy and execution for the Elastic Agent Builder. You will define how enterprises build, manage, and scale context for AI agents, collaborating with data science, engineering, design, and executives to shape a high‑impact product roadmap.

You will engage with enterprise customers and partners, influence strategy in a remote‑first environment, and evangelize capabilities through content and open source work.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in product management or solution delivery for technical, cloud infrastructure, or platform products.
• Deep technical understanding of AI/ML landscape including LLMs, RAG architectures, vector databases, context engineering.
• Ability to move fast, learn from experiments, and use AI tools to accelerate decisions.
• Proven leadership across a matrixed organization and remote‑first collaboration.
• Excellent written and spoken communication for technical and executive audiences.
• Passion for customer problems and developer empowerment.

Responsibilities

• Understand requirements with enterprise customers, sales teams, and solution architects.
• Define and socialize a roadmap for AI agent context engineering on Elastic's platform.
• Analyze AI agent market trends to inform strategy.
• Collaborate with data science and engineering on benchmarking agent capabilities.
• Partner with design to improve user experiences for context presentation and refinement.
• evangelize capabilities through content and open source efforts.
• Engage with AI partners including cloud providers and developers.
