Job summary

Gradle is seeking a hands-on People Operations professional to co-own the operational backbone of our People team. You will manage onboarding, data accuracy across HR systems, and interview scheduling for a distributed, remote-first workforce spanning multiple countries.

You will back up our Lead Technical Recruiter during busy cycles, ensure compliance, and drive process improvements with AI-powered tools to increase efficiency. This role blends detail-orientation with proactive ownership.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in People Operations, HR, payroll, or related administrative role in a fast-paced, global, or remote-first setting.
• Hands-on HRIS experience and quick tool adoption.
• Exceptional attention to detail and pride in accurate data.
• Proactive ownership mindset; follow-through without supervision.
• Polished written communication with overlapping hours with US/Europe teams.

Responsibilities

• Own new hire onboarding from planning with hiring managers to day-one introductions.
• Keep ATS, HRIS, and connected tools accurate and audit regularly.
• Coordinate All Hands, Learning Days, and team-building events.
• Manage engagement and pulse surveys; synthesize results.
• Own training calendar with People Partners and manage LMS and compliance.</br>Automate workflows using AI tools.
• Provide first-line support for training, onboarding, and events.
• Coordinate interviews across time zones.
