Talanto is seeking a Senior Staff Software Engineer to lead Identity & Access Management across Platform. You will set multi-year IAM strategy, unify workforce, AI agent, and service identity, and drive adoption across 700+ systems.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of software engineering leadership across a platform spanning multiple teams and long-term architecture.
• Deep IAM expertise across workforce identity, authorization, access lifecycle, or non-human identity.
• Production Go experience and distributed systems design on AWS.
• Proven influence at senior levels to steer cross-team technical direction.
• Translate audit/regulatory requirements into automated controls.
• Utilizes generative AI responsibly with human oversight.

Responsibilities

• Own the multi-year IAM, end-to-end architecture, and governance across workforce, AI agent, and service/workload identity.
• Drive architecture decisions across pods and establish standards and contracts.
• Build adoption strategies for 700+ systems, including migrations and buy-vs-build decisions.
• Partner with Security, Compliance, IT, Infrastructure, and product engineering to translate requirements into automated controls.
• Lead data model and tooling to answer who has access to what and why.
• Mentor staff engineers and grow identity as a domain.
