Job summary

Sound Physicians is seeking a Manager, People Systems to own the UKG Pro platform and the HR technology stack. You will drive architecture, configuration, upgrades, and data integrity while partnering with People Operations, Payroll, Finance, and IT. This is a hands-on yet leadership role on a small team.

The role blends technical ownership with people leadership, aiming to scale the HRIS ecosystem and enable faster analytics and workflows in a remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Information Systems, Business, or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive HRIS or People Systems experience with hands-on UKG Pro.
• Deep knowledge of UKG Pro modules and BI reporting capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Own UKG Pro platform architecture, configuration, and health.
• Lead roadmap, project management, and hands-on configuration & testing.
• Partner with Payroll, Finance, IT and People teams to deliver scalable HR tech solutions.
• Mentor and manage the People Systems team and establish repeatable processes.
