Job summary

Zip Co is seeking a Fraud Operations Strategy leader to drive the investigation and resolution of fraud and disputes while ensuring regulatory compliance and customer trust. You will oversee daily fraud and disputes operations, manage resources, and collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.

You’ll lead teams across Fraud Operations and Disputes, shape the operational strategy, and leverage data analytics to monitor trends, improve processes, and enhance customer outcomes in

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Fraud Operations leadership in fintech or financial services.
• 2–3+ years handling card disputes, chargebacks, Reg Z/Reg E.
• Experience scaling fintech/payments operations.
• Strong data analytics for trend monitoring.
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Experience with fraud detection technologies, data analytics and ML models.
• Experience leveraging AI/automation in fraud and disputes operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop managers responsible for Fraud Operations and Disputes Operations.
• Define and execute the operational strategy for fraud investigations and disputes management.
• Partner with Fraud Strategy, Compliance, Product, Finance, and Customer Experience teams.
• Drive workforce planning and operational readiness to support growth.
• Monitor performance metrics and identify opportunities to reduce losses.
