Job summary

Coinbase is seeking a Finance & Strategy Analyst to join the Product Finance FP&A team and own the financial story behind key revenue lines, including Consumer Trading, Developer, and Stablecoin products. You’ll forecast, analyze variance, and deliver insights to leadership across product groups.

You will build models, partner with Product, Engineering, Operations, and Accounting, and drive data-driven recommendations to optimize performance and resource allocation.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years in FP&A or related analytical role.
• Strong Excel and SQL for data analysis.
• Experience with planning tools such as Anaplan, NetSuite, or Adaptive Insights.
• Ability to partner with non-finance stakeholders to validate inputs and present analyses.
• Track record of identifying financial trends or risks and escalating insights.
• Responsible use of generative AI with human oversight.

Responsibilities

• Own revenue forecasting and variance analysis for Consumer Trading, Developer, and Stablecoin products.
• Manage end-to-end FP&A deliverables including revenue forecasting and OpEx tracking.
• Build and maintain driver-based financial models across revenue and expenses.
• Investigate data to surface trends, anomalies, and opportunities.
• Lead month-end close for coverage areas and ensure data integrity.
• Present financial analysis to cross-functional stakeholders with clear recommendations.
