Job summary

Coinbase is seeking a Finance & Strategy Analyst to join the Product Finance FP&A team, owning the financial story for Consumer Trading, Developer, and Stablecoin products. You will build models, forecast revenue and expenses, and deliver insights to leadership.

You will partner with Product, Engineering, Operations, Accounting, Treasury, IR, and HR to drive actionable recommendations and support strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of FP&A, strategic finance, or related analytical role with ability to build driver-based models.
• Proficient in Excel and SQL for data analysis; exposure to planning tools like Anaplan/NetSuite/Adaptive Insights.
• Experience partnering with product, engineering, and operations to validate inputs and present analysis.
• Track record of identifying trends or risks and escalating insights to leadership.
• Proven accuracy in close processes and variance analysis.
• Uses AI responsibly with human oversight to improve workflow efficiency and quality.

Responsibilities

• Own Consumer Trading revenue forecasting and variance analysis monthly.
• Manage end-to-end financial deliverables for Developer and Stablecoin products.
• Build and maintain driver-based financial models across revenue and expense lines.
• Investigate data proactively to surface trends, anomalies, and opportunities.
• Lead month-end close for your areas and ensure data integrity.
• Present financial analysis to cross-functional stakeholders with clear recommendations.
