Job summary

Coinbase is a remote-first company with quarterly in-person surges. We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to own the financial roadmap for Platform, partnering with senior leadership including the CTO, and guiding OpEx planning and investment decisions as we scale.

You will forecast, report, and analyze for business partners, drive month-end close, and build complex financial models to quantify risks and opportunities.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, investment banking, or similar fast-paced finance environment.
• Track record managing large-scale OpEx budgets across multiple cost centers.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders on resource allocation through clear, actionable financial analysis.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end financial deliverables including forecasting, reporting, and analysis for your business partners.
• Drive month-end close for your areas by conducting detailed variance analysis with Accounting.
• Identify trends and opportunities by analyzing financial and operational data and explain the "why" behind the numbers.
• Partner with Platform leadership as a financial advisor, presenting analysis during business reviews and translating data into recommendations.
• Build and maintain financial models quantifying risks, opportunities, and investment trade-offs.
